26622 v1 - Write to communicate ideas for a purpose and audience (4cr):
  • @ least 3 separate activities within at least 1 context.
  • Texts total approx 500 words including 1 at least 200 words.
  • 2 different purposes (persuade, inform, describe, narrate, explain, instruct, recount) across 3 texts

26624 v1 - Read texts with understanding (3cr):
  • To read @ least 3 text, two different types
  • Can be presented in written/oral or visual form
  • Discuss implicit/explicit ideas and purpose in terms of interest, validity, credibility, usefulness

26625 v2 - Actively participate in spoken interactions (3cr):
  • Evidence @ least 3 separate activities within at least one context (above)
  • Interactions face to face; 1:1 (electronic); and small group
  • Competence in listening/speaking (contributing ideas; sustained dialogue; questions, agreeing, responding to feedback; summarising; Appropriate behaviour, language, tone; Could be to persuade, consensus, negotiate, share ideas).

I'd appreciate your feedback/guidance on how you'd tackle collecting assessment evidence that is "naturally occuring" from a real context. The scope is huge, can range from school, work, community, sport, family and even leisure. I find this scope exciting because it opens more opportunity for student success.
